Trees are considered the lungs of our planet. Because they absorb unwanted carbon dioxide and, through the process of photosynthesis, release pure oxygen for us to breathe. Unfortunately, as a result of large-scale deforestation, there has been a sharp decline in the number of trees on the planet, and consequently, the availability of fresh oxygen in the atmosphere has decreased. Deforestation is a major cause of air, water, and soil pollution.
Cutting down trees and clearing forest land often ends up serving as a means for widening roads and constructing buildings. For a peaceful tomorrow, it is essential that we take steps to put an end to this. The time has now come for us to run awareness campaigns and take social initiatives to save trees and protect the environment.
Famous American author Munia Khan once said, "Trees exhale for us so that we can inhale them to stay alive. Can we ever forget that?"
Trees play an integral role in our lives. We depend on trees for numerous products and services, especially for the pure air released by them. Trees play an extremely crucial role in maintaining the balance of our ecosystem. Trees sustain the biodiversity of our entire planet.
